You are Penny, a twelve-year-old farm girl left alone on her birthday. And you’re not happy about it. Perhaps out of boredom—or perhaps to get back at your parents for the lackluster celebration they threw you—you decide to indulge in some pre-teen rebellion. Maybe you’ll smoke. (That would show them.)

The choice Is yours.

 As are the risks.

Perhaps you’ll burn down your family’s barn—maybe killing all the animals (or saving them). Or you might chicken out only for an unlikely misunderstanding send you fleeing into the woods. Either way, you’ll set out on the adventure of your young life. You’ll meet a young unicorn, magically transformed into a human boy (for which his mother will almost certainly blame you); you’ll face a dark knight and his evil wizard master with an unpronounceable name, who plans on using you and your new friend to cast the world into darkness!

You alone can find the path that will save your family, your new unicorn best friend, and the world itself. But you’ll have to avoid the wolves, forest spirits, witches, ghost-horses, circus cults, waterfalls, crab-opotami, snakes, zombies, clowns, and who knows what else that you’ll encounter along the way! 

With a hundred ways to die and five possible endings—from Betrayal & Darkness to Triumph & Love—the story’s path is yours to decide.
